I'm enjoying the comforts and quirks of my new place. Today was the day of luxuriating in reactivating my Netflix account. I queued up Food, Inc for instant viewing, then followed it with the pilot episode of Buffy. The former should be required viewing for anyone who isn't going to read Fast Food Nation or The Omnivore's Dilemma. The latter was just pure fun.

On the less than luxurious side, I've been enjoying leaving lights out of the kitchen. I have candles to burn, and the enforced romance of candlelight cooking is a pleasure to smile at, even alone.
