Notes...
I saw a series of strange notes during the day, I felt like I was living in an art exhibition.
A return trip with my camera failed to yield photographic evidence of the notes. Boo.

The highlights were:
A note from one of my neighbours (presumably put through all of the doors in our block) suggesting that we all need to be more careful...

Challenging days will make me stronger.
I hope that saying it more will make it true.

My old firm are taking legal action against me, my new firm and one of our clients.
They know enough about my current situation to suggest that one of my current or former colleagues in whom I've...

The only problem with supermarket offers is that if you have, say, 36 Kit Kats in the cupboard then they call you and call you and call you until you go and set them free in your tummy.

Edited at 1930h on 19/2 to say...
They're all gone. I've just finished the last one.

Battles vs Socks
I have backed myself into a corner, literally and metaphorically, through my failure to wash socks. I have a giant pile of already-worn socks that has spilled out of the capacious Ikea washing basket and has created a 'no fly zone' that's so close to the door it makes getting in and out of my bedroom quite difficult.
I'm amazed that they...

Definately! It's really weird as my sense of smell and tatse has improved so much. I went to the pub a couple of weeks ago and everyone there were smokers. All I could smell when I woke up was stale smoke in my hair. Haven't smelt that for years. It was so minging I had to wash my hair straight away. Good incentive to stop I can tell you!
You're lucky never having been a smoker. Although I was never a heavy smoker I have been smoking since I was twelve. Very strange chaging that mind set after so many years. I just hope it continues to go so well! biggrin

Hell - I hope you don't go through this same dilemma with every decision you have to make. It'll derange you...

I go for option two, by the way. But seriously, man, how can you even be having this situation so close to christmas?!

~They appreciated it greatly. But we left the dishes... bad kids I know. If you're a fan, they're jsut finished their follow-up in Glasgow, and it should be out sometime fairly soon.

Following the savage criticism of the boys and girls of SG Scotland, I have now cleared KT Tunstall from my iPod.
Other horrors I found when I dug deeper were:
Some Harry Connick Jr.
An awful lot of Meatloaf.
A whole Lynyrd Skynyrd album when all I really need is 'Freebird'.

Y'know how people say "it's nice when nice things happen to nice people"?
Well, is it bad when bad things happen to bad people or is it good nice when bad things happen to bad people?
Or is it just fair?

you gotta believe how hard it is to do the weetabix. it's like eating sponge and makes you talk funny.

Sugar Puff Pish Update:
I can make it happen in under an hour by consuming lots of water, then having two bowls of sugar puffs.
Interestingly, it doesn't work the other way.
I'm still no clearer on the reasons for this phenomenon.

I have secured an old microwave for the suggested 'CDs In The Microwave' experiment. I'll video it when I get the appliance.

In...

I'm a few weeks into my crusade against bad science in the media. I've written a few letters and made a few phone calls but I think I'm fighting a losing battle so I'm switching to a more positive approach.

Instead of highlighting bad science, I shall highlight good science from now on.
The reasons for pee smelling of sugar puffs after you eat them...
