i just finished reading killing yourself to live and, as a result, have developed a schoolgirl crush on chuck klosterman. i am a dork.

so, my dad went in today to have his prostate removed. they opened him up, took a section from his lymph nodes and tested them and they came back positive, so they closed him up. the plan now is to try hormone and radiation therapy to knock out the cancer.

well, my family's seemingly daily trips to the hospital continued today, but at least i got my pit ticket for the nin show in chicago in october. something good to look forward to, even if i am going alone.
