yeah, I know....poodle hair bands were kind of bizarre, weren't they? But ya gotta face it, they really had their marketing down. I mean, they were bands that were cute and un-intimidating to girls so we'd come to their shows to see their perfect, eye-liner, hair sprayed antics. Guys, on the other hand, would come to the shows cuz that's where all the girls were hangin' out. We were easy prey after a little substance assistance, I'm afraid It all served its purpose in the human food chain of sex, drugs and rock & roll.

You and I would've been like the movie "Valley Girl". Please tell me you saw that one....

Ooooooh! I'm so envious. I pre-ordered that thing from Amazon ages ago but I failed to change my standard "ship to" address and it got sent to my office instead of my home. Since there's no one to sign for the bloody thing on a Saturday in my office, the nice UPS man got to take it back and attempt delivery again on Monday. Meanwhile, everyone who's anyone has already plowed thru it and I feel like the totally uncool kid at school now. WAAAAAAAH!

However, the good side is that I'm leaving on a little business trip on Tuesday so I'll be well loaded for reading material. Best Potter ever, eh? Can't WAIT!!!!!!
