I had this mole on my left arm that was looking a little funky. I've been wanting to get some more work done on that arm so I figured I would have the mole checked before I blast over it with ink. I had a plug removed a couple of weeks ago and got the test results back. "Severely dysplatic" (sp?).
That means it is an irregular mole. Benign but it needs to be removed. I though this guy was just going to take a bigger plug out. Nope! I've got a gash on my ark a good 3 inches long! Fucker is hurting too!
It seemed a little drastic so I asked him about it as he was inking the outline. he said that if he took a plug that after it healed the skin tension would make the scar spread all over the place. It is much better to take a long narrow strip so that the tension is evenly distributed.
He did say that if I had gone out in the sun a lot that it probably would have turned into melanoma. Keep in mind I live 2 blocks from the beach and am ALWAYS getting shit cuz I'm so pale.
See? There's a reason. Daystar is BAD!!!
I asked about getting ink over it and he said it should be ok in about 9 months or so. *sigh*
