Dimmu Borgir have been one of my favourite bands for about 20 years now, and I love their symphonic black metal stuff. But this first album, ohh my! 🤘🤘🤘 it's a Norwegian black metal classic! The title track is still one of my favourite black metal songs, the atmosphere of it is 🔥🔥🔥

I actually never heard of Bandcamp before. Sounds like it’s similar to Last.fm, which I used a lot back in the day in my old wrestling forum days where I show off what I’ve been listening to and how many times to my online mates at the time. Was pretty cool. I sense Bandcamp is the same thing yeah? @sdawg74 @basseshigh

Bandcamp is a bit the antithesis of Spotify, created to allow streaming, but if you want to pay for an album, the money goes directly to the artist (with a cut); think of it as the old record store, but digital. I like it because it allows me to discover local bands, support them, but also find "peers" with similar taste, get suggestions, etc.
