Currently watching: Breaking Bad and Chasing Amy.

Yeah, I'm late to the game when it comes to both, but I figured since no one ruined the ending of Breaking Bad for me I might as well start watching it. Now I'm full blown obsessed, even though it gives me major anxiety. I still love it. Also, I'd never seen Chasing Amy until now. I have about 30 minutes left to watch, but I love how it's super 90's and is a social commentary about gender and sexuality stereotypes.

Currently reading: "Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships" by Tristan Taormino.

This book is great so far. It dispels myths about non-monogamy, has exercises you can think about/write down to help figure whether open relationships are right for you or your partner and what type of relationships you desire. I definitely recommend it to anyone considering alternatives to monogamy.

Currently playing: Lots of Sonic Youth.

I'm feeling kind of grungy and obviously always trying to relive the 90's.

So anyways,

I know my last blog was kind of a downer. I'm still feeling a bit bummed out about how weird growing up is. I feel like I need more like-minded friends, and more time for friends and doing things I enjoy. I also really miss my family. I'm spending Thanksgiving with my partner and his family here in the Bay. My Christmas plans are still undecided because I may not be able to get enough time off to travel to see my family, which would be heartbreaking. We have so many great Christmas traditions I would hate to miss. Cross your fingers that I'll be able to spend a little bit of time with them for Christmas!

Speaking of the holidays, I want to take a minute to write some happy things! I am so incredibly thankful for the SG community. I have met some amazing people through the site and can't wait to meet many more of you. It couldn't have come at a better time for me. I feel like I am transitioning from college life to "adulthood" and I could use more friends I can identify with... friends who get naked! So thank you everyone for giving me a new sense of community! I hope you all feel thankful for this beautiful site and have happy holidays.
