I've attempted to blog a few times since last and I just haven't managed to finish, so third time's a charm right?! Here we go...

Though it's late, HAPPY LGBTQ PRIDE!! June is pride month. Long story short, I identify as queer. Though I'm in a relationship with a cisgender male I'm attracted to people who identify as all sorts of genders. So San Francisco Pride is always a big turn out and super fun. Unfortunately this year I was working for a majority of it. But, I was able to march in the Pride Parade as a rainbow! Although it was great fun, this highlight of the weekend doesn't compare to past years experiences, like lesbian oil wrestling, ending up at a warehouse sex party, mud wrestling and pinatas full of condoms. But hey, there's always next year!

And this is just because DOMA was repealed so same sex couple's can get married and this video makes me happy cry:

I also recently saw the movie A Band Called Death. It was super rad. They have such a crazy history as a Black punk band in the 70's who weren't able to make it big until recently. See the movie and listen to their album:

So I'd like to take a minute to have a socio-political rant about all of the injustices happening right now in the U.S.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

I can't believe the effort some legislators are putting into restricting access to abortion. Senator Wendy Davis, who spoke for 11 hours in order to filibuster the Texas abortion ban bill, was unfortunately not enough to stop the state's pro-life anti-abortion extremist sentiment. She's a brilliant woman for doing so, but it is unfortunate that privileged men (and even women) in the U.S. want to restrict women from having autonomy over their own bodies. Along with this issue, I'm deeply saddened by the verdict from the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman case. How can the criminal justice system blatantly dismiss a racial hate crime so apparent as this one?

On a happier note,
R3X and I hung out earlier this week and shot some photos. It was a good time that included, driving to beautiful spots in the Bay Area, enduring cold weather and wind, and free slurpees!

Gotta love that 7/11 swag!

Here are some teasers from what we shot

Hope you all are doing well!
xoxo

Yes, ideally I will be getting married lol!

The weather has been lovely here so hopefully Orange County will be blissful while you're here.

Any big plans while you're out visiting?
