So, if anyone's noticed my absence as of late, my apologies... lots of shit's been going on in my world and its prevented me the time necessary to devote to websites n such. With that out of the way, lets just skip by what all that stuff was and go on to the purpose of this visitation into my thoughts...
...holy fuck. I just watched an incredibly impressively done fake documentary. It goes by the title of "Death of a President," and was just recently released by Lion's Gate Films. The basic layout is a setting of modern day America, blasted approx. 1 year into the future, and outlines the circumstances around the events of Oct 19, 2007; when our 43rd president, George W. Bush was assassinated during a visit to the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, and the events following. The film is largely impressive due to the sheer difficulty of creating such an independent film without any support of any government agency for obvious reasons, and pulling it off so professionally that it feels like you're actually watching a documentary presented by the Discovery Channel or the History Channel of events that have already occurred.
The whole thing is accomplished with fabricated security footage, and interviews of falsified major players in the event (including Chicago Police Chief, FBI investigators, Secret Service, suspects, etc), as well as extremely well placed and edited actual footage of recent Chicago riots/protests, Presidential speeches, and the funeral for former president, Gerald Ford. It was phenomenally done, and even included what appeared to be false CNN coverage and a twist at the end. The presentation and story line of the film was also very well rooted in reality of our modern day politics and current foreign tensions making it exceedingly, and somewhat scarily, believable. While not all of the editing was perfect, it was still incredibly well done. I highly suggest picking this one up kids... it'll blow your mind.
