Hola! What's been happening? I haven't been up to much, just work and every day gets me closer to the end of my summer course. . . I'm almost there! 
So Friday is my boy's birthday and I feel bad because I can't really do anything big for him, even though he told me he doesn't really want a big party but still. . . .
Along with the crabs for dinner I think that his son and I are gonna bake hime a cake (even though I have NO idea what kind he would want) and get him some balloons from the dllar store so that he has a little suprise when he gets home. Like I said. . nothing huge.
Does anybody have any relatively cheap birthday ideas? I want to do something thoughtful for him but I just can't think of anything!
My creativity is dry just now. . .

So how did the birthday go??? My boy and I never do anything huge for our b-days. We are only 2 days apart. I normally make him a basket with a bunch of small goodies. I am really creative when it comes to stuff like that. Last year on valentines day I made him this big basket that had fortune cookies that I personally made. I also made these huge chocolate chip cookies and put them on the end of a stick and made a cookie bouquet. Im cheesy I know.
