Well, I saw that I was in fact in desperate need of updating this. What better day than the Ides Of March? Et tu Brut?
Anyhow, pretty much the same as last one, there's so much to talk about, but right now, I really don't have that much. Few things are jumping out at me. I do know however, that at the current moment, sleep and hunger seem to have consumed me, which may be the leading cause of my burgeoning delirium. Who knows?
Oh oh, there's a new Pope now, Francis of Argentina. Wow, didn't see THAT coming. Somewhat of a surprise. I wish him the best of luck in his position.
Actually, some major life changes have happened as of recently. Both within the last couple weeks.
1. My former guitarist has been on me for three years to try out something he does called Bikram Yoga. They opened up a studio here in Columbus on Monday and I've actually been going all week. Admittedly, there are moments in which it's kicked my ass, although I've yet to leave the room, which is the goal, I suppose. I feel a little bit better knowing that a mutual friend of ours that's pretty hardcore about working out, only got halfway into her first class and pulled the whole "Pfft, fuck this, I'm out of here!" card, so that's nice. As a side effect, I'm drinking way more water now, so I actually don't eat that much anymore. I sat down to have some hot dogs yesterday (And I can put those away...) but only ate two and was full. Weird.
2. Someone extraordinary has come into my world that I have the utmost adoration for. I'd love to just yell it from the mountaintops, although I'm pretty sure they know how special they are in my life. I'll leave it at that, otherwise, I'd go on and on about how I've never felt like this and so forth with things of that nature. There is still a lot yet that I have to process, there are a lot of new things that are still a bit confusing.
I'm finishing the Nukibori. I start a new series of sessions to wrap it up on the 29th. A couple weeks ago, I went in to schedule a session and was met with "Oh, what are you doing now? I have a cancellation and could put in an hour and a half on it." Yes, fucking please. That was one hell of a welcomed surprise. I actually got him a couple gifts for always being such a good sport about everything and helping me out, antique Burmese Tattoo Pens. One of them assembles and sits upright in a stand of sorts.
As to where the other one is in a carved wooden box, where it disassembles and has a little divot for the ink with a compartment on the top to hold a "book" of palm leaves strung together with different animals and other Buddhist related images, so it's like an old school Burmese tattoo station.
I hope he likes them. He's big on curios and things of that nature, so chances are that he will. My backpiece should hopefully (Fingers crossed big bucks, no whammies) be done by my birthday this year. Which is somewhat difficult when your tattooist is booked up for three months ahead of time. My goal is to ride into my thirties on a wave of awesome. So, better shape, better mind, no loose ends. I may not be able to stop time or reverse it, but I can at least alter it's effect on me.
Wild shot in the dark, but I'm guessing there is no SG St Patty's party for this weekend. Nothing has been said in the threads or anything. Bummer.
Well, I'm not really sure what else to put in here, as that's pretty much all I can think of right now... if anything else pops up in my head, I'll be sure to add it to the next one.
