Well it was another messed up day in paradise. We found out that the exec. chef won't be back until maybe saturday morning. So that meens I have to do almost all of the prep for saturdays partys and afternoon tea. We have over 100 for lunch and around 70 for afternoon tea. My list of things to do tomorrow alone is at 22 items and i'm sure I have forgoten a few things. And just about all of it has to be done tomorrow. I have a little bit of help but not much. So it looks like more overtime for me. I hope after this month is over I can get a couple of extra days off for a short trip out of town. Don't know where I will go,but away from here would be nice. Any suggestions. Of corse this all depends on if I keep my job or not. I might have to quit because they won't give me medical insurance. For some reason they don't offer it to restaurant employees. Go figure. I could go on about this all night but what good would that do.
