so deadpool sucked in his first appearance? well that's fuckin Rob Liefeld for ya. I don't think he DRAWS quite as bad as people say, but he's still a fuckin hack. in his drawing and his writing. but especially his writing.

what did gambit do in his first appearance? I didn't like how they changed his character in the Ultimate X-Men line. In his first appearance he was like a ratty beggar who spoke a lot of cajun French. Then they TOTALLY changed his character because someone (was it Sinister?) "educated" him. but if you ask me, I think the writer was just too damn lazy to look up all of the french terms he'd probably say. heh. and then they killed his ass by having Rogue siphen it out of him!

And now I'm talking about the main continuity, but wasn't Gambit the product of DNA splicing between Sinister & Cyclops or something? I heard that somewhere but I never read it in the comic.

How much did that marvel legends deadpool set ya back? i got mine for 20 damn bucks. cripes.
aficionado:
Dude, I just got back from a comic con and I bought me a Deadpool heroclix! heh. I don't even know how the hell to play with these things. or what the little numbers on the side mean. do you? pfeh. I'm just glad I have a li'l Deadpool heroclix. but yeah. any idea to how you work this thing or what the numbers mean?

and yeah, Claremont's basically turned into a hack. maybe he was the shit back in the day, but he sure can't write a comic now. standards have changed. Perhaps he should just stick with plotting stuff out and leave the actual writing to others. but then we'd probably still get a Gambit whose powers are "based" on Cyclops. zuh? That doesn't make sense any way you slice it. heh.

First appearance of Gambit? First appearance of Deadpool? How much did THOSE set ya back?? heh. Is it true that Gambit's powers were kinda different in his first appearance? Is Deadpool as much of a sarcastic asshole in his first appearance?

I am afraid that I have no idea who Jim Calofore is, though. heh. sorry.

I've also been lazily searching for a Deadpool heroclix. I don't play heroclix, but it'd be kinda neat to own one of Deadpool, y'know?

I have a signed drawing of Venom by Angel, the guy who draws the godawful Spawn comic. Nothing against Angel. It's just that Spawn sucks balls now.

A friend of mine's sister has a signed drawing of Spider-Man by John Romita Jr.!!! How friggin cool is that??

Anyhoo, that's cool about your first appearances and heroclix. I'm all sorts of jealous and such. heh.

what are you doing in boston?

The comment about having a friend with a penis kinda meant that it'd be nice to have a guy friend. Out of the few friends I have, all of them are girls. And hey, I do enjoy the ladies, but sometimes it's nice to hang out with another guy and just BE A GUY, y'know? And my closest guy friend lives in L.A. right now, half the country away. ah well.

You probably don't care, but a while ago I asked if the Euripedes you liked was the one who was married to Orpheus. and you responded that Euripedes was the one who wrote the Bacchae. well. The person I was thinking of, Orpheus' wife, is Eurydice. I was a little confused. They kinda sound the same. heh. anyhoo. . .

also, to answer aficionado's comment, I read an interview with the director of Troy and he left the Gods out because apparently he didn't want to take away from the main story by bringing in the Gods. Also, he said he couldn't imagine casting people for the parts of the Gods, he didn't think it would do them justice.

I bought a Marvel Legends Deadpool for 20 damn dollars from eBay. Did I take him out of the package? You bet your ass I did!

and I just recently flipped through the X-Men Legends II player guide and it said that after beating the game once, one can indeed play as Deadpool throughout the entire game the second time around. kickasssssss.

You should consider putting your artwork up at ElfWood Project.

There is a lot of other good artwork there and you might even find some other inspiration.

Give it a look.

Thanks for sharing your art! It is seriously good. Plaidhangover has an eye for that.

On a side note, yay for mental health advocacy!

So once upon a time I was writing a book. Got 100-150 pages into it when I got a complete writers block. Hell it even became hard to write poetry. Then this last weekend at work I got some creativity back, eventhough they still don't go to be part of my book

if you want to check them out go to

and check out...
