i miss my city, but only in short bursts. i love driving 70 down sturrow drive, listening to the best radio dj ever from boston, nik carter, and relishing in my memories of these buildings, these sidewalks, these park benches.
i realized today, driving past the hatch shell, that once upon a time there was a boy in my life who was a perfect match. we sat one night, the third of july, and watched them decorate for the boston pops concert the next day. we talked about his aunt who was a nun (with the same nickname as me growing up) and shared a cup of ice cream.
hes married now, and i'm happy he found someone.
because, really, there is no ONE PERSON that i need to find, on the prowl, accusing everyone of becoming my husband.
instead, every single person we meet has the ability to change your life.
its whether or not you let them that decides your fate.
