ok so i need to vent. i wanted to get a pink bow on the back of my neck (yes i know how girly that is) so i went to this artist that had all these gold and silver trophies and plaques set up which i looked at. Best Portrait, Best Lettering, Best Coloring. etc. And i looked through both his portfolios and talked to him for while about how long he'd been doing this, could he do a small bow well, that i didn't want a black outline or dark shading, and other concerns of mine. So he ended up doing it.

BUT: because it was on the back of my neck i couldn't see what he was doing. he made it WAY darker than i wanted it.
AND: he was talking to his brother the whole time! about who he would fuck or wouldn't and which customers he would fuck if he could and i wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up and concentrate on me. but i didn't tell him. i guess it's because i knew he would ignore me and make fun of me.
SO: i believe getting a tattoo or piercing should be an enjoyable experience for the person involved and attention should be focused on her or him. i realize the most important thing is how it looks in the end but i'm just saying it should be a nice experience to remember too.
