My favorite band of the moment is the Fruit Bats. Their new album, "Spelled in Bones" is extremely listenable. Yet another one of those bands that has been around for awhile, but I am just now discovering. Now I have the fun of going back and listening to their older stuff. What's funny is I had an album of theirs, "Mouthfuls" on my computer for who knows how long, and I'm only just now listening to it.

My dad and stepmom are visiting this weekend. Does anyone else find it funny that they always have Portland Gay Pride weekend on Father's Day weekend?
