I can't stop listening to Rilo Kiley's More Adventurous. The entire album, not just that song. Something about Jenny Lewis' voice is positively addicting. Now I'm sad that I didn't see them back in September when they were here with Now It's Overhead.
I used to be so ahead of the times with the bands. Now I don't discover an album until it's been out for months. Except for Picaresque. I was addicted to that one waaaay before it actually came out.
I know, I'm so cool.
And seriously, Mother Nature, why do you bring the rain as soon as the weekend arrives? I've been staring out my window at the sunny dryness all week at work, and the rain began precisely at 5:30PM on Friday. I stepped out the door in tank top and sandals, and made a mad dash to the car before the downpour. It's enough to make a girl pout.
