I have racoons in my chimney!!
We had been hearing noises coming from the fireplace since moving in. I finally got around to getting a professional out to investigate. He said that there is a a whole family of racoons just chillin in there. He "harrassed" them, trying to get them to leave on their own. If they don't vacate of their own volition, then Monday, they will have to relocate them. Here's hoping they just take off.

thats nuts... I remember when I was younger living in the mountains the raccoons were all over ...pesky lil things and super mean but oh so cute...good luck
