With the changing of the floors in my room I decided to change up some of the setup in my room. If it was nerdy in the past, well then, let's just say that now it is so nerdy you regain your virginity upon entering, and if you haven't lost it yet, well it ain't going anywhere for a long time. biggrin

I'm getting all sorts...

honestly, i considered callin in a couple favors and having some old friends jump her and get my money back, but i decided against it since she has so many crazy mexican cousins who might come after me if i did. if there's one thing i've learned about crazy mexicans, it's that you never fuck with their family unless you've got an army behind you. at least not if you value your life.

oh, and btw, i would like to kidnap the contents of your room.

Miramax, the studio that gave us such awesome films as Pulp Fiction, Clerks, My Left Foot, Gangs of New York, Chicago, Good Will Hunting and many more is dead.

Let us film nerds, geeks, and dorks have a moment of silence....

It will be far more difficult to see great independent and foreign films in theaters now.
texy:
Thankyou biggrin

Miramax is GONE?!!
Why? eeek

Geekiness follows

Bored, I'm gonna head out to geek nirvana in a bit, which is luckily only five minutes from my house. I love it, I mean come on, it's like a mini con that's open every week.

In other news, I found out that apparently May 25th is Geek day, this is probably because A New Hope came out on May 25th... my birthday...

I don't know why, but I have always had Mission Impossible and Mission Impossible II as a part of my dvd collection, despite having never seen or purchasing them. Well yesterday I saw a copy of Mission Impossible III for, ironically, 3 bucks, so I picked it up. Today I finally decided to watch the damn trilogy. This is the first time I sat through...

I've been watching Magnolia a lot these past few days, what the hell is it about these Paul Thomas Anderson films that gets me addicted to them like a fraking drug? Before this I watched Punch-Drunk Love an obscene amount of times, and about a month before that I couldn't stop watching Boogie Nights. Damn You P.T. Anderson and your fantastically addicting movies!!!

Just got off work and I don't wanna fall asleep, nor do I really wanna do anything, so here I am! I figure I can waste your time by once again talking about movies.

Here are three films that I feel are Underrated or just aren't well known, even though they are far better than most of the stuff out there:

1. Zodiac- The fact...

I feel compelled to defend Zodiac, but I won't. It really is a love it or hate it film. I rarely see a film so completely split people down the middle. whatever
iryan:
For those who don't like it, make sure you watched "Zodiac" (from 2007) and not "The Zodiac" (from 2005). That could be why, if not then maybe you just didn't like it frown
