Tonight I went to my boss's wedding. He is my age, born in the same year. They had chinese for dinner, which rocked a lot. We had to bring our own booze which was fine except that everyone there was very 'small-town' attitude (FREMONT - YEY) and looked at us like we were drunks. (We were the only ones who brought a rolling cooler.) After the meal was over half the guests, including people in the wedding party, left. They did cake, then when dancing started another 1/4 of the party left. Boss seemed so sad that his reception was 'lame.' Then the bride yelled at 2 of our party for drinking out of Boss's champange flute, because it is supposedly bad luck. I had never heard that before. Kind of mean of her to go off on them when it was an honest mistake.
Mostly I feel sorry for boss because his reception did kinda suck and that isn't something you get do-overs on. (Generally speaking.)
I did meet a nicer guy there he was drinking he had the cutest heiniken keg that would make THE BEST cookie jar. I will post the pic when I can resize it.

Sometimes I feel a little lonely, not having a boy around, but I know that I am okay without that sort of thing and that when the time is right I will know. Or something idealistic like that.

I looked really nice tonight I will try to post pictures. One of the people I went with did my makeup and I didn't completely feel like a 2-bit whore, so that was a positive experience.
