argh. my ex won't leave me alone.

in other news: there are now pics of yoshi in the pics area, my gecko is now an interweb star.

today i took my mom in to get a port installed (i guess the correct term would be implanted but i'm a computer nerd so...) in to her chest so that when she starts chemo (later this week) they can inject the drugs through that instead of poking millions of holes in her arms, hands, wherever.
the operation didn't take long, there was a chance that they could have collapsed her lung or screwed a great variety of things up, but we seem to be doing ok so far. the anathesia effected her more this time then when she had her biopsy done.
she did scare the shit out of me when her bandage filled with blood when she rolled over while trying to sleep. it was about 2 tbsp. of blood which doesn't seem like a lot but when it's your mother's chest you don't take chances. called the doctor and the nurse said that unless it seems out of the bandage and theres a lot of bleeding she will be fine.
she also threw up on the way home.

this is going to be harder then i expected, but it will not be impossible.

i keep playing ani's 'next bold move' over and over again, it's becoming more and more like a mantra (the whole song?) to help keep me calm.

odette is freaking me out - she is barking at every window and i'm not sure why. greeatt. oh well. i'm starting to get tired and i stole a book from my brother on the sequel to the davinci code, so i guess i could be reading that right now.
