"Previously on Firefly" would make me sooo happy, but I don't see them doing it. It'll be interesting to see how he tries to get the non-fans up to speed on the story though. How do you use the first 30-40 minutes of the movie for character introductions for the noobs without boring the faithful?

My biggest hope is that a success on the big screen will lead to the show being picked up again by a network. There's SO much more I need to know!!!

Hope school's still doing well. Keep it up and whenever one of those young punks gives you any lip, try these simple to follow steps:

1) Point behind the suspect and yell, "Look! A baby wolf!"
2) When the person turns with a puzzled look on their face, simply ram your toes at break neck speed (or break nut speed...) into their groin.
3) Point at them and scream in a maniacal voice "I'm not takin' any guff off you fucking swine!"
4) Get to class to avoid any tardy slips.

Was I flattered that you requested my friendship, yes. There is simply nothing better than logging on and finding that 1 new friend request under my comment count. But chalking all this up to my age and to where I live is the shit!

I don't have a lot of friends in real life, but the friends that I do have I value very dearly. Actually one of my best friends in real life is on your friends list.

Again, I say if you are simply dying to be my friend get to know me.

Although, at this point I doubt you want to be my friend. Perhaps I am the worst kind of SG member, you know that kind that well I guess I don't know. I don't know what makes a bad member. I suppose it could be me.

I really don't feel I need to have a journal entry dedicated to what makes a good friend since it's pretty obvious as I stated to you. I guess I don't find those things to hard to do, but perhaps you do.

I am going to be honest, I meandered over here thanks to your post in Niobe 's journal. I saw a point there ya know, gotta stretch and get to know people here and there, I figured I would stretch out a paw and bat first, here's to if you stretch out your paw and bat playfully at mine!

Considering that you seem like a very intelligent and caring person, I'd be glad to have you on my friends list.

Honestly, I'm not a big zealot about much of anything. I don't have many strong and passionate views. Except that everyone has the right to live and be happy. When people start to infringe upon that right (as in making threads offending often defenseless people) I get infuriated.

I've said my share of mean things in my life, I'm only 19. I have many years of stupidity behind me, and frankly I probably have quite a few ahead of me as well. I do know that I try my damndest to not offend people who can not defend themselves.

i was just going to check in with you and see how the Bowie shows fared...sounds like it was going rather nicely until you ran out of A/C...but to see Bowie at the Greek, ah what bliss...The Bay area has to be wonderful this time of year...nothing like sea air while you're watching an outdoor show.

That sounds very nice.... only, by this point in time, I'd rather focus on "Slip Away" and "Afraid" as the main encores over "Changes" (totally sick of) or "Suffragette City" (still cool... but...)
Not being familiar with Reality, I still have to say it looks like he performed just about none of it! I mean, I think I know the album-origins of 99% of these. (edit- I went n looked up the album just now)

I wonder how different some of these songs are done now? Are the '70s songs quite different now?

I still need to hear Reality; I, for one, think Heathen was near enough up to his '70s/'80 standards.
