Just wanted to let you know I used you as inspiration. My GF has been battling alcoholism and has been in and out of treatment facilities. Well, she's found a new leasse as it were. She was 30 days clean and fell, we had a long hard talk, and now she's 15 days clean and in a sober living house. She's taking a lot of hard steps and getting ahead with things and has gotten herself a sponsor as well. SO, things are hopefully going to be okay.
When things were hard and she felt she couldn't do it, I showed her your profile and some of the journals. She cried a bit and we talked some more. She really thinks she can do it. A big change from before, let me tell you.

I have heard of flocks of parrots all around Los Angeles, but I don't think I've seen one before. You say hundreds? I wonder how that happened. I guess when they escape and stuff, they find each other some how and since those Macaws live for like 60 years, they have the time to find each other in this big city. But still ... you see hundreds of them? My cat Stimpie would have a heart attack.
