it's new year's eve morning as i write this.
tonight, i will go to my home-group NA meeting to pick up my final 1.5 chip. then to a "milwaukee-style" fish fry in burbank. yeah--we'll see how that matches up to the real thing. remember, i lived in milwaukee for 15 years.
new year's day, mol and i will celebrate 23 years of being manacled together.
then i do a quick accupuncture session (i skipped my christmas day appointment--yes, dr. chong will be there--so i must go.)
next, we'll go watch the rose day parade at the corner of colorado and sierra madre in pasadena.
at 1, i'm meeting other members of the sg/la/sobriety group at the bliss cafe in hollywood.
life is good, no?
and january will be cool, too; yesterday my director told me that our hospital will name me "volunteer of the month."
i'm pretty psyched up about that one, but apparently, there is no new car involved.
my friends, no matter how you will celebrate, do it safely. i don't want to see any gray names in january, ok?
