WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE AMERICAN IDIOT IN VEGAS?
molly and i bought tickets to see green day perform their (punk) rock opera american idiot in its entirety at the joint in las vegas on tuesday, december 7. but now she's neck-deep in an o.t.s. (office of thrift supervision) inspection at her bank, and she's determined she can't get away, even for 1 night.
so i have 1 ticket too many, and with mol's blessing, i'd like to invite a member of the sg community to join me as my guest. i'm still going, because even though we saw green day last week in long beach, and although american idiot was featured as any new cd would be, it was played in bits and pieces.
if you're interested, you must:
1) provide your own transportation to the hard rock hotel (home of the joint) and where i'll be staying; i will be cabbing it from the airport to the hotel, so i won't have wheels.
2) have been a member of sg for at least year and have an active journal.
3) have a genuine excitement about american idiot.
4) be willing discuss the concert in insanely minute detail afterward.
important: this is a strictly platonic offer so gender isn't an issue.
this should be great concert, and i thought someone from sg would enjoy it, too! it was an exciting show in long beach.
