Aaand here is part 2 of my UK trip !
So after week one came week two and I travelled all the way to Scotland to see my dear, dear @finella ! I missed her a lot and going to Scotland was just a dream come true. So I took the train to the airport and flew to see her ! Weeee
It was awesome to see her again ! She's the sweetest person on earth and so easy to talk with, we spent our days chatting like old ladies haha !
We first went to Edinburgh and I forgot to charge my camera battery (classic.) so didn't take much photos. It was sooo beautiful but also SO FUCKING HOT. You know I live in Brittany and we are NOT used to this kind of warm weather ! And the same goes for scottish people apparently hahaha, we just ranted all day and forgot to bring water with us (CLASSIC.). We went to the Scott Monument and then ate a bit and went to Arthur's seat. SO COOL and beautiful ! But as we forgot to bring water, we had to stop every 5 steps and rant and die from the hot weather. And we then took an hour break to chat and bitch a bit more :D
On my second (and already last) day, we took some time to shoot a set ! YES ! We found a magical little place just 5 minutes away from hers and it was such a special moment ! Special and dangerous haha ! The motto "On your knees for Ayah" (that @armadiljo came up with) reached a whole new level with her ! We also got stabbed by trees and slipped a lot haha but it was a lot of fun and we really love the result :) Here's a unedited sneak peek !
Then we we went to Glasgow and had lunch there. And by lunch I mean ALL FRIED EVERYTHING because Glasgow. She made me try the haggis (and I actually liked it !) and the deep fried mars. That's the only meal I had this day because FOOD COMA. The city was very busy (it hosted the Commonwealth Games) and we just hanged there for a few hours, took some photos and then I had to leave ;_; I really need to go back and see the wildest part of Scotland ! Also, the scottish accent is now my favourite one.
I took ages to go back to @snowy's and then did nothing but rest for the few days I had left in London. Well, except for the week-end ! We spent saturday night with two friends and made photographic experiments (including smoke grenades, headlights and a parking lot), it was a blast ! I was supposed to shoot with @totem on the sunday but poor thing was suffering from a terrible migraine (these are the worst, seriously, I've been having them since I was 9 !) so we postponed ! But I shot @aro and it was awesome ! She's such a fox and her flat is a perfect location ! So happy we worked together <3
Then on my last day, @snowy and I played with the smoke grenades and got yelled at by her neighbors (such buzz killers, boo !). You'll have to wait a bit to see the result hehe ! And then I had to leave ;_;
These two weeks were just perfect ! We had so much fun and got so creative and now, I want to live in London. And that's the reason why I'm not trying to enter the cinema school in Brussels anymore ! I'm gonna move to my mother's in October and save money to move to London next year :) WOO-HOO ! Can't wait !
(I wanted to post aaaaall of the previews from the sets I shot in London but it's already 04:30 AM here and it took me 4 hours to upload all the photos and write this blog ! I'm dead, so next time !)
