So we're going to war.
And the oddest thing of the entire thing is that Canada is NOT backing the US.
The government, that four years ago went into Kosovo without UN ratification, said they won't support the a war that isn't Ok'ed by the UN.
I'm actually glad. I don't support the war (as anyone on the "Current Events" boards knows).
I'll just wait another 48 hours for this to pan out.
Oh - and in the meantime I"m going to enjoy my freedom fries and walk my freedom poodle.
(Better yet - they should have named things that you don't like "french". Like french headcheese. Or Frenchsparagus.)

So it's been officially announced. War (huh! Good God yall! What is it good for? Absolutly NOTHIN' say it again!)
*Edited to add the fact that war sucks - especially a war started by presidential fiat from a guy who wasn't democratically elected, and which prompts such quotes as:
"We will continue to provide our listeners with the best programming possible, but we will also continue to insist that our programming supports the United States of America." - Ken Birdsong, general manager of WENG Radio in Florida, upon pulling Canada Calling, a five-minute news show, after 25 years on the air, for announcing that Canada would wait for UN approval before joining the war.
Gotta love that whole suborning the freedom of speech thing, huh?*
