Just joined Tinder. All of my previous attempts at online dating have been a complete waste of time but maybe this time will be different, right?
After all, how could I possibly do badly in a setting that is mostly based on (a) looks and (b) the ability to quickly form a rapport with a stranger (particularly via text). Those are only my two main weaknesses when it comes to dating in general. What could go wrong?

Thanks! The match with the woman in Reading came to nothing in the end; she was supposedly going to get back to me about when she was free to meet up but she never did. But I've had a couple of dates with the woman I matched with on Bumble, both of which were good, and we're seeing each other again on Sunday, so it's going well so far.
