I still see your face everywhere, and I know it is fueled from within. I still hear you say "Hi Cc" as though you are right here, and I can see your cheesy grin. Am I losing my mind or are you really saying hi? I still long for an embrace from you. I never knew our last would always be the last, and I thought of you that night, when you came in mind, as your soul floated to the sky. I would find your number in the morning and send a message to say hi. I never knew you were close by, and at midnight the rounds had started. Messages from everyone. I asked your best friend if it was a cruel joke. He said no, and I started to choke, on the air and back the tears. About to be seven years. Can't get you out of my mind. So, I drink to you, and to the sky I whisper, "Cheers...."
