Ok, real update this time.
My internship is going awesome. I've been working on a game idea with a lot of help from Vernon since he has the Game Design knowledge. My bosses really like the idea and want me to develop to a point where we can pitch it to the forces that be. Pretty exciting.
I doubt my drawing skills everyday, but every day I come home and work on them bit by bit. I need to work harder, though.
It's cloudy today in L.A., it's beautiful, I hope to see more of it. I love how the clouds turn the landscape into rich blue hues instead of dusty dry ones.
Researched artificial intelligence in games today, specifically for Black and White. It's amazing how they program these guys to respond. In Black and White your creature is programmed to observe your actions and decisions and to store that information and get a rough idea of how you think and what you might like. It then bases a lot of it's behaviors off of you, to please you...or, if you treat it poorly, to spite you.
I found this A.I. that you can chat with online, created by one of the programmers for Black and White. He has the ability to learn, it's pretty neat. He's not perfect, but still one of the more intelligent A.I.'s available to chat with. Go say hi to LEO.
