Been awhile, don't really know what to say. Right now I'm still trying to reign in some semblance of order in my life, exploring and defining what my daily life is going to be like/be all about on this long break from school. Trying to rediscover the goals I once fought for tooth and nail, which gradually seemed to slip away over the past year. I'm becoming more inspired these days, but if artists only worked from inspiration things would rarely be accomplished, I have to establish the ridged discipline I once lived by.
It's hard to do this since I am also developing socially like I've always wanted. I'm becoming closer to the crew at work, mainly due to bonding through drama and being naked in hot tubs, and also because our young cool new manager is fostering the family atmosphere. I once didn't trust a soul in that place, now I consider almost everyone a good friend.
Exciting news of the day: I'm going shopping with a girl! I haven't done this in years...literally. I don't usually shop much, almost never have with another girl. Guess goes along with the Alaskan tomboy taking the backseat for awhile why the frou-frou girly girl in me gets to take the wheel for once.
So I'm still trying to find a way to balance all this new personal growth with my need to work towards my career goals. I'm playing too much and having so much fun, when will I ever get back to business?
Is there a secret to time management? How do you control play time and work time, how do you develop self discipline?
I'm having fun with Photoshop. If anyone has a pic they want me to doll up and experiment with, feel free to shoot one my way.

there is always next year to volunteer. i didn't did anything with them either. i saw one movie and it wasn't that good. it was called "my big fat independant movie" it is more fun when you meet all the people and go to the parties.
