Alright so here's the news from the doc
I have to make an appt. in the middle of next week to go down to a different post to see an Orthopedic surgeon to determine whether or not I am a surgical candidate or not. If I am then I"m going to get surgery for my knee because it is either a problem with my IT band or its my Miniscus (sp?) Sorry for medical terms that you probably don't know but I'm just being thorough. If I am not a surgical candidate then... I am going to get a medboard and be ousted out of the service. BUT I will get paid disability for the rest of my life and keep my benefits. So that is a plus. It will take time for that paperwork to go through but it would be a good option for sure.
The grown on my lower back.. the Lt. that examined me was concerned because of the rate of growth. I am going to have it lanced in two weeks and then they will perform a biopsy on it to make sure its not cancerous. Hopefully its not because... well that would be life-altering.
OH also we got a call about an hour ago that our weekend cleaning party for tomorrow was canceled at this minute, so no 0900 formation on a saturday. Hallelujah.
Still stressed about the health issues but things are somewhat looking up.
