Beyond the land of dreams,
in the Water,
in the Earth,
in the Fire
and in the Air
are formed
new designs.
Outside the mind
a new reality is expressed,
by the spirit
free from barriers.

Oltre la terra dei sogni,
nell’Acqua,
nella Terra,
nel Fuoco
e nell’Aria
si formano
nuovi disegni.
Al di fuori della mente
si esprime una nuova realtà,
per opera dello spirito
libero dalle barriere.

Hi everyone!! Today I wanted to partecipate a funny celebration called “La Giornata dei Calzini Spaiati” (“The Odd Socks’s Day”), a little event created by a elementary teacher’s project to teach and celebrate the value of diversity using the fact that everyone has lost one of this socks one in a lifetime!! But sometimes this fact can create something special and original!!

Under the rays of the rising sun,
a thousand fires and
a thousand filaments
melt and intertwine
in one design,
Out of the mind
of those who wake up
after a long and cold sleep,
but that continues to create dreams
at the dawn of a new day.

Sotto i raggi del sole nascente,
mille fuochi e
mille filamenti
si fondono e si intrecciano
in un solo disegno,
Uscito dalla mente
di chi si risveglia
dopo un lungo e gelido sonno,
ma che continua a creare sogni
all’alba di un nuovo giorno.

Though the distance
we feel the heat
of the fire that burns the candles,
and warms our heart.
Colored and wonderful
light
illuminate the night,
closed in darkness
and in the frost,
offering comfort
and hospitality
for those who are alone.

Sebbene lontani
sentiamo il calore
del fuoco che brucia le candele,
e riscalda il nostro cuore.
Luci colorate
e meravigliose
illuminano la notte,
chiusa nell’oscurità
e nel gelo,
offrendo conforto
e accoglienza
per chi è solo.

The sound of footsteps
breaks the silence of the night.
Only Its eyes
can see
beyond the darkness
and the falling snow,
before Its attack.

There is nothing
in the darkness,
except a ghostly voice
singing in the
cold December night.
It hopes with his voice
to find
hospitality
in Its journey,
far away from the cold
