Among the grass
There is a rustle,
like the passing
of a stormy wind.
Among the fields
only the noise
of a gallop
overhangs the ground
where it is passing
where a white steed,
carries with it
the color of the water
and the moonlight.
On his back
a noble knight,
whose end
will not be marked
by a sharp blade,
but from the flow of the river,
home of the beautiful
horse.

“The Kelpies" (C): Andy Scott
Kelpie: Evil spirit coming from Celtic folklore, can take the form of a splendid white horse to induce the unfortunates who meet him to mount his rump and then never go down again, condemning them to die in the waters where the creature resides.
