good news of the day:
no farmer's market for me today, that made my morning a lot more relaxed and easy to deal with, considering i got almost no sleep on sunday night.
checking an old, almost defunct email account, i noticed i got into the warhammer: age of reckoning beta wut is closed a few weeks ago, and i am currently awaiting the last few gigs of an 8 gig download for it to start. hopefully another hour or so, and i will be bashin' skulls and takin' names.
and, the ultimate good news, obama seems to have won the nomination. seriously, hillary, let it go. you're done. it was an admirable fight, but the game is over. take what little dignity you have left and walk away, standing tall.
seriously, his speech was one of the most powerful pieces of rhetorical exposition that i have ever seen. the man is, at the very least, an artist. let's hope he has the rest of the skills to go with it.
edited to also add that this all happened on the day that weezer released it's newest album... today is truly a day for the history books.

Thanks for the advice. You're right. I've come this far all on my own, so why stop now. I guess I was really just freaking out because I don't want to end up all alone in a country I've never been before.
