My Grandfather died today. The great Polish soldier of WW2 passed from a simple fall.
However i don't feel that sad, he was 93 and he died with his mind and dignity still intact. That's all i could have asked for. I will honor him my own way. Even my middle name is his, and i shall bare it as proud as ever.
I am also glad that He died in 2011. This year has tested my steel in every way possible, and i'm glad 2012 didn't start of on a low note.
Its times like this where i wish i was in a relationship. What i wouldn't give to have someone hold up the mirror of truth and say "Look at who you are. Look at your good. Look at your bad. See your worth". But the only person i can believe would say this to me is myself. Though that is great, its still a lonely life. Being alone doesn't normally hit me hard, but seeing this time of year, with friends, family and love. I just want a head on my shoulder and a hand on my heart.
Well, it gives me a good new years resolution to achieve!
And a bottle of the best vodka as a toast to my Grandfather!
