you gotta love days off. mine has been great so far...lunch with my buddy sarah at lucky 13-sandwich and a widmer oktoberfest and then a visit to the record exchange. todays purchases:
chrome--catherine wheel
green--rem finally getting it on cd
low level owl:volume 1-appleseed cast
the strokes are playing here oct 18, i'm hoping to score some free tix from a friend of mine. thinking about popping in a film and finishing my laundry. or going outside and enjoying the overcast day that we get so few of. fall is just around the corner and it's the time i feel the most alive

i feel the same way about fall. it an interesting juxtaposition, the dead leaves and my lively thoughts.
unfortunately, here in Texas fall is not just around the corner, but several miles off and buried under 500 feet of steel-reinforced concrete.
it will be a long time coming, if ever it comes at all.
*sigh* ah, for but a single shiny red leaf, splotched with rain and lying on the sodden ground.
