Strange Day....
I've just started doing Work Experience at FHM. I'm actually not the greatest fan of the magazine because I'm not really what you would call a 'lad' in the traditional sense of being all about birds, booze and football. (I do like all those things but not to the point where they rule my life). It has a reputation for being a glorified...

Eyyy, you buy me a drink and I'll buy you one back
I am planning on going, it's just if I can find somewhere to stay over or not. Or I could always leave early and get the train back, but an evening always feels a bit flat when I do that.

I'm in a melancholy mood at the moment.
I just watched a film called '2046' by one of my favourite directors Wong Kar Wai, who did the films 'Chungking Express' and 'Fallen Angels', absolutely brilliant films, which you have to watch, if you haven't done so already
It's a sequel of sorts to a film called 'In the Mood For Love' which is about two...

yes, it is tempting to knee him in the balls...if only that was practice disciplinary action in the workplace...
that film sounds amazing...i'll definitely try to get hold of a copy. do you know whether there is the option to listen to it in chinese? you're right about the right time/wrong person, wrong time/right person thing. i'm in the same place as you right now on that front and i firmly believe in the power of fate too.
are you going to germany this new year?
i hope you've been really well ash
xx

I like really really bad horror movies. It started as a kid because the manager of my local video store let me rent anything I wanted. I mean everything apart from the top shelf porn ones. I don't know if there were any rules against it but he did it anyway. This means that before the age of 10 I had managed to watch a...

I'm tired and my brain is a bit frazzled. Do you know the scene in 'Freddy's Dead, A Final Nightmare' where Johnny Depp takes an egg in his hand and says 'this is your brain' and then cracks in it in a frying pan and says 'this is your brain on drugs?' That's exactly it though I've missed out Freddy smacking Johnny in the head....

My World-
Still working in Bookshop. Making applications at the moment to do a Journalism course nexy year. Got four choices at the moment with my favourites being Goldsmiths down at New Cross and City University in Islington. Too busy at the moment to do any writing as it's almost impossible for me to do unpaid freelance work as it strikes me as a waste...

As someone who took a Media Studies degree with an eye towards doing journalism, it's NEVER too early to start doing freelance stuff and building contacts. You'll be glad of them once the course starts.
Was good to see you friday matey.

When you're staggering out of the Devonshire Arms throwing Rock Shapes and taking the piss out of Metal Music in front of the crack heads and pushers on Camden High Street then you know you are drunk.
rainwolfkin:
not to worry. i left only a few moments after you. smoky pubs aren't always my thing.
perhaps we'll meet again on the 12th...

i hate jack daniels. I think I drank it straight last night together with a few pints. I think it tipped me completely over the edge. I spent most of the northern line with my head in my hands, nearly fell out of the train wobbling on my legs - i couldn't actually balance properly. then when i got off the train i threw up...

JD is ok, I prefer the Irish and Scots whiskys though. Get some Bunnahabhain down yer! Are you sure it was the drink though? I mean, the Northern Line has that effect on many people, just look at recent weeks

Jon Bon Jovi is just embarrassing. Even more embarrassing is the fact that I can't help but be attracted to him even though he's ridiculous.

Oh! We have Vertigo in our college library, and we've already talked about Strangers on a Train in Media. I'll have to check them out.
That's great that you sell books for a living.
