Wow, it's been a while. And the army certainly seems to keep one busy.

Moving to North Carolina in three weeks, Fort Bragg. Quuuuuite excited to leave AK for good. GREAT place to visit... But I miss my coast.

I'm hoping to meet up with some fellow SGers in NC! Rock climbing, half-marathons, crossfit and backflips anyone?

I joined the army. Fort Wainwright, Alaska. 3-21, 1-25th Infantry. I hear it gets cold here in the winter.

And it's a new year... a new position at work. Associate Editor. Life is decent.

Moved to Westerly, RI. All alone now. No roommates. Yay. Got a contract to ghostwrite a book. Getting paid. Yay. G'night.

Just spent the past 8 hours finishing up a story on a local family homelessness program. I feel fulfilled but ready to pass out. Why does caring about the stories you write suck so much. Caring takes energy. Bastards.

So, 110 inches of text later (about four 8X10 pages), sleepy time.

So, I suppose lack of posts is due to an influx of assignments and a new boss at my local paper. I'd like to rename it "The Bumfuck, USA Times," but I suppose I cannot do that. Bummer. Fucking turf farmers.
