Yesterday my partner Ross, our puppy Rudie and I drove about 700 kilometres north to his parents place to spend Christmas and New Year here.

This morning I went to my favourite cafe for breakfast where the waitress asked what I'm doing for work or study and I ended up having an interview with the boss for a position in their kitchen!

I am a chef by trade but haven't worked in a commercial kitchen for several years so I'm looking forward to the challenge.
