1.Any travel, vacation or Holiday plans for summer:
Sadly no. While I did have some plans to be a bit more spontaneous and adventurous this summer work has had me absolutely frantic to stay afloat. Lots of sick people this year so my plans have been put on hold as far as travel. Next year?
2.Any summer traditions you or your family have:
I wouldn’t say I have any traditions, but I do love to fire up the grill and get crafty. I love cooking steaks, burgers, and personal favorite BBQ chicken!
3.With the hot summer we are experiencing. Do you have a favorite place to go swimming?
I am not a fan of bodies of water. I love snow and rain, but large bodies of water just aren’t my thing. I do enjoy the occasional creek or river, but I just don’t enjoy swimming. I can swim! I just don’t like it. Weird eh?
4.Are you having a normal, hot, heatwave, or extremely hot summer in your state in the US, Canada, Mexico and other countries, tell us were are you from.
It has been oddly hot! So hot I had to purchase an air conditioner! The smoke from the fires has also bene pretty bad causing issues breathing. I live in the US, Colorado Springs to be exact and it’s been a odd year with the heat starting earlier than usual as well.
5.I think tan lines are sexy. Girls and Members your opinion.
I think it takes a very specific skin tone and outer wear to pull off a good tank. I once thought they looked pretty gross but I’m learning to appreciate a few. Though, I’d say I’m still not a big fan. Tan it all or not at all, I guess. If I did have to say a "tan line queen" existed I'd say @gleiz is top notch. Check out hers!
6. Did you enjoy Camp Suicide Girl? And what Camp Group were you in?
I really, really wanted to help @niffler! I was so swamped with though and on the few days off I had I had to catch up on adulting things. I do apologize!
7. Favorite summer activities, and write down five things:
Hmmm. I love hiking and grilling in the summer. Though, usually a late afternoon hike where the sun isn’t so hot. I also just adore a good summer rain. The feeling and smell of cold rain coming down is so refreshing and calming to listen to. I used to like walking my pets in the local parks but they have since gone to furbaby heaven and I’m sure they are walking plenty there. Unfortunately not much else….. I’m a winter guy so, that has a bulk of my list.
8.What's your favorite fresh vegetables from a summer garden? Name 3 Vegetables
Oh man! I’m a sucker for squash, especially Zucchini! I also enjoy getting the rare opportunity to eat strawberries and watermelon for cheap and in plenty!
9.What's some mixed drinks you like in the summertime. Or maybe you like beer or wine.
Since being sober I’ve not had any alcohol since 2016. Though, I really am a fan of strawberry lemonade and other fruity beverages exclusive to the summer!
10. It's summertime and hot outside and your favorite things to drink. Name 3 favorites.
Hmmm. I love a strawberry lemonade! I’m also a big fan of cream sodas and ice-cold Dr. Peppers. Then again, anything with cherry in it is awesome!
