All right, the brother-in-law gets here today, so I'm essentially booted back to my house. That means no SG access unless I go to open-minded friends or sneak onto others' computers. Until I get my pc on-line again, feel free to e-mail me through the contact thingee on the profile (I can check e-mail at work).

If I don't hear from anyone earlier than the...

As part of some self-therapy I started up due to depression in November (too long of a story), I picked up the Artist's Way. Now one of today's assignments asked me to list people I was jealous of. At first, I was deadlocked; I thought I wasn't jealous of anyone. Then I started writing out a friend's name and the floodgates opened. I realized that...

I'm like that by nature. I put it aside, as it is negative and I want to be positive. I'm glad I started learning more about Buddhism. I'm a lot more sane and not so gloomy all the time.

depression is never so fun. i hope you are doing better. jealousy is always one of my downfalls, it's not a good thing. i hope your new year treats you well and that everything is looking up. take care.

Starting New Year's Day, I anticipate being at home again and working on my essays and other materials hardcore again. Unless I start giving myself swift kicks in the ass, I'm never going to get myself prepared for graduate school applications (this almost caused me a panic attack last night).

Just a little heads up in case I go silent for a month or two.

Decisions, decisions. After my mom's Catholic Choral Recital, should I:
(1) stay at home and drink coffee and play scrabble with my sister?
(2) go to some crappy, sanitized coffee house to drink coffee and play scrabble with my sister?
(3) go downtown with my sister and drink and dance and what not?
or (4) go out on my own and get filthy drunk and...

I vote do something with your sister, and you 2 can work out which of those options.

And playing by ear is always cool. (Well, from my point of view it is...)

Merry Christmas, etc.

Spent the eve going to a catholic mass with the family. Forgot how much of a spectacle those things could really turn into. But it was for my ma anyways, so the hour of boredom was worth tolerating.

Right now, my dad's at work so we can't really celebrate the day until about six o'clock. My sister took her kids out to...

Yes, Invisible Monsters is good stuff. smile

I'm so glad I don't go to mass anymore. I grew up in a Catholic family, and I went to Catholic school for 12 years. I've had all the churching I can tolerate.

Wow...things are all screwy on the site right now. Think I'll lay for the night, maybe sneak some time in while the house is asleep (if I can access it from the living room computer...don't want the nine year old to see things...at least, not his mom...)

Anyways, happy holidays and all that crap.

I have even more pics, the others are even better, just need the time to post, I'm on vacation right now (and what a load of shit this is).

It was for one story line and it's done now. According to my ex, Mack is moving on to ultimate xmen and he'll be co writing with Bendis. And Bendis will be leaving soon.

Sorry, a little late on responding. Been super busy. Anyway, Merry Christmas.

All right, so I'm back for a tad. At my parents' house, the brother's in Vegas, his computer has DSL. It's all good. Should be able to keep it up until about Christmas, maybe a little after, then I'll have to hook something up at the home so I get easy access.

Other notes: took a two day road-trip with my sister and her kids...

It's good to have you back, even for a couple of days, my friend.

And that is one HECK of a road trip!

Never ever ever watch obscure arthouse films when deliriously ill. While sick, I watched Grand Illusions, then when I tried to sleep, for ten hours I was tossing and turning with hallucinations and nightmares about being in a WW1 prison camp with people talking to me about the purpose of life, escape, whatever.

This will probably be my last day for a while. My friends...

I am so fucking sick right now. puke

The way Ewan McGregor looks on the dvd cover of Trainspotting, that's how I feel.

The AC says it's 70 in my friend's apartment, but I'm wearing two layers of clothing, still shivering. I've taken some medicine and I feel incredibly nauseated.

I hate illness.
sebsis:
For nausea, I do saltines and 7-up. I can usually keep them down and seems to help me. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
onetruesephiroth:
Sorry you're sick dude, I usually just ride it out with lots of sleep and orange juice that usually works for me.

And you know it's funny you should mention Ewan McGregor...

Just to vent in the here and now, I met up with an ex of mine last night. First off, the break-up was mutual (although, according to some, for inexplicable reasons, she was deliberately making an effort to find things to hate about me). I wanted to end dating so as to salvage what was left as a friendship. She agreed.

Now, if a girl...

Wish I had the volition to write up another clever, insightful journal entry, but I'm just too damn tired. On that note, it's about time to get some cash, hit downtown, catch the Hate Bombs, and have a bombastic time.

Maybe later, in a drunken daze, I'll post up a poem or something. Or freewrite on my latest cultural critique.

So, overall, this Turkey Day hasn't been all that bad. Work was a little insane. One of our clients got highly aggressive after dinner, but after that, things mellowed down. Had a better meal than I've had in weeks. Improved on my writings quite a bit. Got to exercise quite a bit. Overall, plenty to be grateful for, if that's what the day's all about....

Yes I have become a bit more cynical cause whats not great about pointing out our cultures great flaws.

The MST3K thing is more than a bit sad its a lot sad that was the only thing that used to be good about "Turkey Day" it made sitting around with my wonderful family almost bareable.

Peace Out

Dude, now I feel like a horses ass, I had no idea that your clients were autistic or mentally handicapped. But that's what happens sometimes when you're bieng a cynical smart-ass, open mouth insert foot (I'm going to need a shoe horn to get the goddamned thing out now). Sorry man.
