Damned people, you can come up with some tough questions! I don't watch that much television, but I do know a bunch of tv-shows from around the world, I can't stop talking about.
Most impressive.
I didn't ever watch a show that catched me as much as True Detective. It was bizarre, addictive... And it show beautiful storylines, great cinematography and a bunch of the most intigruating characters ever seen in tv shows. By the way, did you know you can find some of the most important filming locations in Louisiana right here? http://wikitravel.org/en/True_Detective_Tour Until I saw this show, I only 'knew' Baton Rouge and the surrounding area as the location for Discovery Channel's Sons of Guns. Well, this opened my eyes ;) No more Will Hayden, welcome Rust and Martin!
Actually, I'm still hoping for a True Detective-themed SG-set ;)
Greatest Female Lead.
Another detective show I really liked: Bron/Broen, a Swedish/Danish show by Hans Rosenfeldt. Once again, it's Scandinavian fiction which excells in the portraiture of one of the greatest female leads I've ever seen on tv. And it's not the first time that happens in Scandinavian fiction. Lisbeth Salander in the Millenium Trilogy, Birgitte Nyborg in Borgen, Sarah Linden in The Killing... All wow! Storylines go much further than ya typical whodoneit. And, like for True Detective, those opening credits <3

Throughout the years there where some more shows I adored for different reasons. Of course I watched every episode of Friends, I still enjoy Big Bang Theory week by week. And the first series I watched back to back from the first to the last episode (of a season) was 24.
Nowadays.
There's one more TV Show I would like to mention: Broadchurch. Another British Crime Drama about the murder of a young boy in a small coastal town.
Apparently this show also got an American "remake" called Gracepoint, but I'm gonna stick with the original...
