I wish this city had some kind of 24-hour food delivery -- or even a 24 hour restaurant. What hope is there for us poor souls that require sushi in the middle of the night?

Spent $1800 on getting a tooth crowned (about half a year's income.) Got to experience one day of it feeling like a normal tooth again. Now it's all back to hurting when I eat. I am hoping this is caused by a gum infection or something like it that will heal.

Did you have a root canal? I ask this because I have a lot of experience with them; and with spending far too much money on them.

I also know the sweet relief of having a tooth go back to normal after over two years of pain. (I ended up having more than one root canal in the same tooth. I didn't even know that that was possible.)

Personally, I'm fascinated with the die. How did you decide what would be on the faces? And how did you prevent any sort of lop-sidedness? The slightest flaw can result in skewed results... although sometimes that's exactly what we want. smile

The die was made by rolling the clay into a ball then smacking it on the table to flatten the faces. I wanted the die to be good for yes/no type questions, so the sides all say things like "It will be" or "It can never be." One side, interestingly, crumbled off in the baking process, and that side so far seems to roll up commonly when one has a lot of influence over the answer (like if I ask it a test question where it's possible for me to easily do the opposite of what it predicts if I feel like it, like "Will I get up from the table now?")
