After several months of constant work, mostly by writing and looking for places to promote my blog, I've rediscovered the value of hanging around websites to actually read and learn stuff from them. Which is in turn making some of my blogging a bit easier. Today I was looking at historical illustrations of carrots.

Ah, Bernalillo, New Mexico. An ambulance on your block every night. Last night it was the neighbor committing suicide, tonight it's my grandma with breathing trouble (though not severe enough to need CPR or, apparently, intubation or anything.)

How am I so busy but still never get anything done???

Huge dust storm with 60 mph winds, all over New Mexico today. Power kept going out here, and at my mom's work the smoke alarms kept going off because of all the dust. I am amazed the tree in the back yard stayed upright, it was shaking and looking quite ready to fall.
