Over the last few days I've learned a few crucial lessons about life and stuff in general. I now declare them here:
Do not uninstall anything without making sure your fucking poxy CD-ROM works. Jesus.
Never buy computers from a local independant trader. Especially from a rip-off merchant like D*UGL*S B*NTLY formerly of THE COMPUTER SHOP, COMMERCIAL STREET, LERWICK, SHETLAND, U.K., EUROPE! I say formerly because he cheated on his wife with some American wife cheating on her husband so he sold the shop and fucked off somewhere, hopefully to a desert island where there's no chance he'll ever reopen his fucking RIP-OFF BUSINESS!!! Fuck me, still can't believe I bought this machine off him.
It is indeed wise to use asterisks to prevent people thinking you're libelling them - although you're not exactly libelling when the wanker in question punts you a second-rate computer for 100 more than the latest state-of-the-fucking-art one.
Never trust my mother's first impulse, ever. Make her explain her ideas. If she can in a logical and coherent manner then her words are a winner and should be trusted.
I will disobey the above over and over again to my detriment.
The old Soviet National Anthem is the best national anthem ever - until I learn the words to 'Flower of Scotland' or 'Land of Hope and Glory' becomes a national anthem. Even then it remains in the top three.
Windows ME? Stable? Like bollocks it is?
It is not at all possible to stick the World Cup up your fucking bollocks. Remind me to tell Roy Keane of Manchester United this someday.
Scagnetti should be thankful that my computer troubles started just before I commented on his journal Tuesday. 'Full of shit' has never had a more apt meaning.
I'm sticking 50p on the following teams in an accumulator bet: Bears, Packers, Vikings, Broncos, Cardinals, Titans. No wait... I'm sticking on a quid. Big man me.
Question Time is a far more dignified affair in Britain than it is in America. I should know.
And finally, if you play poker and you're in a situation to win a massive pot and you're either going all-in or folding - go with instinct. It works and makes for some good photographs which I can't put on the site because the two principles - read 'losers' - object.
And a promise: Someday I'll unleash WASP2 whether the other principles like it or not.
I'm sure I learned more things. Balls to it.
Happy Hallowe'en.
There should be more seasonal smilies.
