ok i keep seeing this crap about the uc irvine and the american flag. i think what happened there was one of the most american things i have seen in a long time. people who were elected in into a pseudo government voted that the flag was not allowed because of blank. but thats not the american part about that story, the american part is a government in a free democratic state passed into law, a law that the majority did not agree with. so, you know what the majority did they made their voices known that they did not agree with the laws/choices that this small student government had made about the american flag. the majority then got the law/choices overthrown by coming together and saying i will not stand for this. that is american in every way. i think this should be a lesson to us all that we as the majority have the power to change anything that has to do with us as long as we stand together and make our voices known. i dont agree with their choices i spent 5 years of my life defending not just that flag but everything that the flag stands for and freedom of speech is one of the greatest freedoms we have. stop harassing these students, stop threatening these students and educate them on what that flag stands for. if they still think its a sign of imperialism let them its fucking america and lets do the american thing and allow everyone to have the right to say and think what they want and the great part is your allowed to tell them you think its wrong but do it in a humane manner they just put their big boy/girl pants on for heaven sakes. so when you get on your computer instead of trolling a 14 year old on youtube look up what our constitution says and tell them why america is great not why they should go to hell in a hand basket. ok
