Similitude
Born from darkness in noisy tumult,
How joyously you churned, pure white,
A curled chrysanthemum of sparkling water,
Tumbling gleefully with bright new life . . .
How eagerly you parted, smoothly folding,
In haste to make your mark on wider scenes
Until, the tumult fading,
You lapped impotently on unknown shores
And in departing, left no mark at all. . . .
How brief the tenure
Of each earthly thing . . .
I mourn
And journey on . . .
Remembering . . .

I'm thinking..maybe I should take that Non Fic. class. It's the only CW class offered now. I did turn in my schedule to my job. I have a job, and that feels secure, but why do I feel that I just sold my soul?
