I haven't had a long-term relationship that's worked out either. I agree that honesty is best in a relationship. It's something that I often don't find. I think it's usually because of the kind of women I've dated. I believe that in relationships, the partners should just be honest with eachother, but not in a hurtful way. I don't believe in the cliche of, "the truth hurts." I think lies REALLY hurt.

Yea, honesty is definitely always the best policy! I agree that lies are the worst possible thing in a relationship.

I'd say on the shoulder. It'll be easy to show to others, and yet easy to conceal for work, etc. I honestly believe that tattoos should be completely accepted in the work place, but not everybody sees it that way. Unless you're starting a sleeve, I'd go with the shoulder. But, it's your body--place it where thou wilt.
