Believe it or not, I'm not deceased.
Things have been ridiculous in so many more ways than one, and I'm only just starting to get it all straightened out. I essentially dropped out of school this semester, as I was sick so much and missed so many classes that it was either beg for academic concession or fail. So I'm withdrawing from everything, and giving it another run next year - my FIFTH year of university. Joy. I'm only hoping the government doesn't penalize me too much when it asks for its loan money back.
I'm job hunting atm - by which I mean I'm sitting on my ass playing WoW and halfheartedly checking Craigslist. I play too much WoW. I have too little money. See the problem? I need to find something within the next week or so, or rent for June might be a problem. However, I applied for this wicked little deli/restaurant type place in Gastown yesterday through email, and since I haven't heard anything, I'm thinking of heading down for a face to face impression today - gives me the excuse to try the food, too. Depending on how I time it, too, I can bus home when Alex gets off work, and possibly convince him to go for gelato. This will make me happy.
What also makes me happy is that Alex and I hit 9 months yesterday. Which makes it 9 times as long as his longest relationship, and just under 3 times as long as mine. We've settled into our groove, and we just fit with each other - it's nice to not worry about that area. I love my muffin. Speaking of, maybe I'll play hero and buy him muffin caps to celebrate...
FUCK my fingertips hurt. Stupid non calloused skin. I have a love/hate relationship with my steel strings. But I'm improving for the first time in years. Wish me luck with that.

This band is my baby. We are going to be successful (in terms of creating that feeling in someone's chest when they hear that song they love, not "successful" as in "money"). It's our dream and it's gonna happen through our own hard work and passion and love for radness!
But like I said, we have a demo out. You pay $4 and you get eight (wicked-quality) tracks that last almost half-an-hour, some sweet DIY eye-candy, and instant immortality/karma! That's right! Everyone who buys our demo will have their name immortalized somewhere on the next release! So make sure we know who you are! We want to thank each and every one of you who actually listened to us!
